Tennis player's mid back pain
Mid Back Pain

Recently, a skilled 15-year-old tennis player was referred to me due to upper mid back pain that forced him to withdraw from a match. After evaluating his condition, I administered myofascial release, followed by trigger point therapy, and concluded with PiezoWave 2t (ESWT), which alleviated his back pain.

The following day, the pain resurfaced, albeit less intensely. After a second treatment, the pain dissipated even more quickly. I recommended a five-day rest before resuming competition if he remained pain-free. A week later, I learned from his father that he is now competing in Florida.
