Our Story
The Story Behind Indy Myopain Relief Center
Indy Myopain Relief Center was founded by Steven Maschmeyer following a personal battle with chronic low back pain that persisted for over 25 years. After seeking relief from top orthopedic specialists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists with no lasting success, a recommendation led him to renowned trigger point therapist Sharon Sauer in Chicago.
To his amazement, a single 90-minute session completely resolved his pain. Discovering that no certified myofascial trigger point therapists existed in Indiana at the time sparked an 11-year journey dedicated to mastering this specialized care. Today, Indy Myopain exists to help individuals break free from chronic pain while educating the medical community on advanced solutions for soft-tissue dysfunction.
