Shanetta (Lynn) Herbert, N.P., MFTPT

Naturopathic Practitioner & Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT)

Dr. Shanetta HERbert is a naturopathic practitioner whose career reflects a steadfast commitment to service, compassion, and holistic wellness. Her professional journey began in real estate, where she developed expertise in client service, negotiation, and project coordination. Working closely with families during pivotal life transitions, she cultivated deep listening, clear communication, and the ability to guide people through change—skills that continue to shape her approach today.

Transitioning to nonprofit leadership, Dr. HERbert founded and led community programs focused on strengthening families and enhancing access to wellness resources. By forging partnerships, coordinating services, and designing educational initiatives, she empowered communities with practical tools for health and resilience. This work solidified her belief that lasting wellness is built on connection, community, and accessible knowledge.

As a wife, mother, and family-centered naturopathic practitioner, Dr. HERbert now channels her personal and professional experiences into her practice. Her journey began with crafting natural wellness solutions for her own household, which evolved into a professional calling. She integrates evidence-informed clinical techniques with holistic insights, continually pursuing the latest research to provide thoughtful, effective care. Her practice fosters a warm, family-first atmosphere, where clients are supported in building sustainable habits for whole-person health—body, mind, and spirit.

Driven by compassion and curiosity, Dr. HERbert’s mission is to empower individuals toward independent wellness. She creates a safe, nurturing space where clients can explore their health needs and gain the tools and confidence to restore balance and vitality. Her guiding question to each person she serves is: “Are you ready to be independently healthy?”

Recently, has joined Indy Myopain Relief Center to study Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and certify as a therapist. Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy is a natural fit for a naturalistic approach to health and wellness.
