Steve Maschmeyer
Steve Maschmeyer is an internationally recognized soft-tissue, pain management therapist. In 2014, he founded Indy Myopain Relief Center. Our mission is to provide myofascial trigger point therapy services to all people with pain and muscle hospitals, medical practices, pain-focused physicians, chiropractors, dentists, pharmacists, yoga and palates instructors, physical trainers, physical therapists and the public.
Credentials
In 1970, Steve earned his bachelor's degree in biology. In 1974, he completed his master’s work at Butler University. He worked 11 years at Methodist Hospital’s pathology department as a clinical chemist. From 1981 to 2008 is founded and was the CEO of Digital Dynamics, providing software management products to the pharmacy industry. Between 2011 and 2013, Steve was the CEO of Golf Solutions. Steve received what seemed a miraculous cure from a nagging back-aches that had plagued him for 25 years from Sharon Sauer. Steve became so impressed that he wanted to dedicate the rest of his life, helping people with their pain. February 2014, Steve graduated from Sharon Sauer's MYO Seminar’s Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy seminar.
July 2014, Steve passed the Certification Board exam with the highest score, becoming the third in Indiana to nationally certify as a CMTPT.
During the same year, he also received additional trigger point therapy training from Myopain Seminars founded by Jan Dommerholt's, PhD/PT and Robert Gerwin, MD., the therapists: Stew Wild, Katie Plummer Adams.
In 2015, he received training in Myofascial Acoustic Compression Therapy.
July 2016, he received the Diploma of Medical & Sports Massage from the Indiana College of Sports & Medical Massage (Now Indiana Wellness College) with honors.
